Anyhoo we have been learning about addition/subtraction

First we learned all about the important words in addition/subtraction problems and how those words let us know if we are doing and addition problem or subtraction problem. 

Then we learned different strategies for how to add/subtract

*We have learned to used a number line

*Pictures

*Ten Frames

*Counting Forward and Backwards 

* and to put the larger number in our head and take away or add the smaller number

The little buggers are doing so well with addition and subtraction we have moved on to place value and two digit addition and subtraction
